I started writing Disney-inspired poems back in April 2017, after a few too many comments about me being “A BIT OLD” for my Big Hero 6 lunchbag. Madness, right? As Walt said, adults are only kids grown up, anyway.

You can order my poetry book – Kids Grown Up – and prints of my poems via BigCartel.

WE MISS YA, ALFRED, ALL THE TOWN. IT AIN'T THE SAME NOW, MISTER BROWN. Hi pals! It's been a while since I wrote a Haunted Mansion tombstone poem, but I was listening to the ride spiel on my lunchbreak today and INSPIRATION HIT ME… so here we are. Grim grinning ghosts come out to DO SOME READING! ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿ‘ป๐Ÿ’โšฐ P.S. Little bit of trivia for ya: this photo is from Boot Hill at Disneyland Paris, just outside Phantom Manor, and it shows Mary Murphy and Frank Ballard, who were an almost-married couple, it seems. Their stones say 'Til Death' and 'Do Us Part'… BUT IF YOU LOOK REALLY CLOSE, THERE IS AN EXTRA GRAVE BEHIND THEM! It belongs to Ma Ballard (an angry-looking gal who is presumably Frank's mom), and HER tombstone says 'Over My Dead Body'. OH THE SCANDAL. If you were wondering why I love Disney so much, it's because of stuff like this ๐Ÿ‘ป๐Ÿ‘ป๐Ÿ‘ป
