And to that I say: you choose, my friend. As of 2026, you have three options, with a fourth on the way:
1 – If you’ve ever poured waaay too much love into somebody else while forgetting to take care of yourself – or if you’re in the midst of a break-up and simply need a lil uplifting comedy in your life – HEARTBREAK ERA is for you.
2 – If you’re into romcoms with 90s/00s energy, or if you’re someone who struggles to know the difference between high standards and unrealistic standards when it comes to dating… I’d recommend my second Young Adult novel, RED FLAGS.
3 – If you’re a current or recovering people-pleaser who likes thoughtful books like THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER and wishes they could just tell everyone the truth for once, I think you’d like my debut Young Adult novel, THE NICEST GIRL.
All of these are Young Adult (YA) fiction, which means they’re written with teens age 12+ in mind, but if you’re an adult all I can say is: don’t let that stop ya. Young Adult fiction is absolutely suitable for grown-ups (and I personally believe we all have child and teen versions of ourselves still residing within us).
4 – Looking for an adult-friendly romcom with rival vets (who just so happen to be exes)? Well, you have come to the right place. My first New Adult romcom, THE JOBSHARE, is out summer 2027.
